Our Ascension Event Center, comprised of three rental spaces, is an ideal venue for a wide range of events. Located in the beautiful Oakland Hills and offering panoramic views of the San Francisco Bay, our center has made a lasting impression on hosts and guests near and far. Coupled with our picturesque copper doors and marble accents, the venue is an elegant backdrop to any event.

The three spaces offer flexible, customizable floor plans and accommodations for events ranging from large weddings and corporate events to benefits, fundraisers, auctions, performances, bridal and baby showers, birthdays and more intimate meetings.  Our unique facility can host some of the largest events in the East Bay and greater Bay Area.

THE RICHMOND ROOM

This beautiful room is accentuated by its marble fireplace, hardwood floors, large bay view windows, and traditional Greek mural art. THE OAKLAND ROOM

Patio

Located between the Cathedral and the Oakland room, our Patio seats 100 guests and has picturesque cooper doors as your backdrop. This space is perfect for small parties and is an ideal location for hors d’oeuvres or cocktail hour if you will be hosting an event in the Oakland room or Richmond room.

CATERING

Our contracted caterer provides excellent Fine-dining for your event! Our menus are flexible and are tailored to your custom taste. Our team will create an elegant dining experience with amazing food, excellent service and can accommodate all your bar tending needs.

Our delicious meals feature options all your guests are sure to enjoy. You may choose from a wide variety of hors d’oeuvres, salads, and entrées for your menu. Our caterer is flexible and able to customize your meal to meet your exact specifications and wishes.

We are a Nonprofit, Eco-friendly organization with many youth and adult led programs that give back to our community. The Ascension Event Center and its dedicated staff have the flexibility and capability to cater to your individual needs to guarantee your event is an ideal fit. Our staff believes in accessible luxury, helping make your events more affordable by allowing you to provide your own beverages (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) to guests. This helps keep your bar budget down and customize your event experience. In addition, our contracted designer is intimately familiar with our facilities and available if you wish to make your visions a reality. Furthermore events in our indoor facilities allows events to continue until ***am much later than most Event Centers or rental facilities.
